Dragon Ball Z - Saiyan Saga to Cell saga. Those were the best, I think.

Freezer saga is my fav. Cell saga was cool too, in Majin Boo saga things began to get really low in terms of quality, almost like the hosw wasn0't taking itself seriously anymore.
